PASCOAG- Eva B. (Champoux) Lamoureux, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Lamoureux.
Born in Woonsocket on November 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Phillias and Emma (Toupin) Champoux.
She was the loving mother of Richard Lamoureux and his partner Bobby Grillo of Lowell, MA, Cecile Cormier of Pascoag, RI, Lillian Graham and her husband William of Lake Havasu, AZ and the late Raymond Lamoureux, and daughter-in-law Lynn Lamoureux of Chepachet. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Christopher and Danielle Cormier, William Graham, Stacey Frazelle, Kristen Raymon, Michael and Jackleen Lamoureux and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Imelda Turcotte of Woonsocket, Jeannette Crevier of Warwick, and the late Alcid, Leo and George Champoux, Yvonne Gendron, Alice McIntyre, Bertine Bergeron and Olivine Blain.
A lifelong resident of Woonsocket, she was active in the Kennedy Manor Club and enjoyed playing bingo. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave., Pascoag, RI. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Overlook Nursing Home Activities Department, 14 Rock Ave., Pascoag, RI 02859 would be appreciated.
