BELLINGHAM- Rita C. Gouin, 84, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Milford Care & Rehabilitation with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Gouin.
Born in Woonsocket on September 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Zephirin and Exilia (Lauzon) Remillard.
She was the loving mother of Alfred R. Gouin and his wife, Linda of Woonsocket, RI and Pauline T. Aiello and her husband, Daniel of Bellingham, MA; and leaves her cherished grandchildren Audra Gouin and Angela Aiello. She was the sister of the late Alfred, Leo and Robert Remillard.
A resident of Bellingham for most of her life and she was a communicant of the former Assumption Church. Her greatest joy was being with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 8:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
Visiting hours are on Sunday, July 1st from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To sign guest book visit
