BURRILLVILLE- Roger Lussier, 76, resident of Burrillville, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away on July 2, 2012 at the Eleanor Slater Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Armand and Albertine (Bibeault) Lussier.
Roger had attended Mount Saint Charles High School in the 1950s. After high school and throughout his life, Roger was a mechanical inspector working for such companies as Taft Pierce, Whitins Machine Work and Thompson Press. He was the owner/operator of Quincy Monumental Works, a business which he learned from his father. For recreational enjoyment, Roger was an avid duck pin bowler for many years. He also enjoyed playing softball for the local Woonsocket area leagues.
He is survived by his daughter Jean Morse and her husband Robert of Douglas, MA; son Joseph Lussier and his wife Deidre of Woonsocket and brothers Robert and Bertrand Lussier, both of Woonsocket. Roger is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Nicole and Kerri Morse and Corey, Samantha, and Kaitlyn Lussier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11AM in St. Charles Church in Woonsocket. Burial to follow in the St. Stanislaus Section of St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone, MA. By the family's request, calling hours have been omitted.
