Beatrice E. Guilmain

UXBRIDGE- Beatrice E. (Poirier) Guilmain, 84, of Uxbridge and formerly of Blackstone died Sat. July 7, 2012 in the St. Francis Rehab & Nursing Center, Worcester. She was the wife of the late Eugene L. Guilmain, Jr. who died in 2008.
Mrs. Guilmain was employed at the former Waucantuck Mill of Uxbridge and later for Hanora Spinning of Woonsocket.
She was born Aug. 4, 1927 in Uxbridge, the daughter of the late Victor and Evelyn (Snow) Poirier and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.
Mrs. Guilmain was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Millville and an active member of the New England Country Music Club for many years.
She is survived by her children; Evelyn Giguere of Woonsocket, RI, Pearl Lemoine of Cumberland, RI, Geno L. Guilmain III of Uxbridge and Nancy Guilmain of Woonsocket, RI, one brother Victor Poirier of Woonsocket, RI; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday July 12, 2012 at 8:30 AM from the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St. (Rte. 122), Uxbridge followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 AM in St. Augustine's Church, 17 Lincoln St., Millville.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge.
Visiting hours will be held Wed. July 11, 2012 from 5 8 PM in the funeral home.
