Marcel R. Hetu

WOONSOCKET- Marcel R. Hetu 80, of 547 Clinton St. died Monday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Lucille (Lambert) Hetu.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Alfred and Lila (Beaudoin) Hetu.
Marcel was a Machinist for EG & G Sealol Co. for over fifteen years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and served in the Third Infantry Division from 1952-1954. Marcel was an avid Yankees fan.
He is survived by a son Robert G. Hetu of Pawtucket, a daughter Diane Fleury and her husband Dennis of CA, a brother Normand Hetu and his wife Rita of Bellingham, and a sister Alice Vadeboncoeur and her husband Robert of Woonsocket.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting Hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
