NEW SALEM, MA - Beatrice H. (L'Etoile) Jarry, 84, of New Salem, MA formerly of Blackstone, MA passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare in Worcester.
Born in Manville, RI on March 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Menunier) L'Etoile.
She was the loving mother of Debbie A. West of New Salem, MA and the late Robert Jarry and Linda Leduc. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Shawn Lankowski of New Salem, MA, Jamie L. (Jarry) Smith and her husband, Phillip of East Providence, RI; and her four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Lucien L'Etoile of Bellingham, MA and many late brothers and sisters. She also leaves nieces and nephews.
A resident of New Salem, MA for the past few years formerly of Blackstone, Bellingham and Woonsocket where she was raised. She had worked as a comber for 35 years for International Fibers. She was an avid bingo player, loved animals and donated to the ASPCA and many charities and organizations. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, July 23rd at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
