WOONSOCKET- Mary A. (Vario) Fasano, 99, of Woonsocket, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at The Friendly Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic Fasano.
Born in Woonsocket on November 9, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Croce and Laura (Iannoli) Vario.
She was the loving mother of Babe and his wife, Paulette Fasano of Millville, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John, Michael, Lucy and Antoinette Vario and Rosella Fasano.
A lifelong resident of Woonsocket, she worked as an assembler in area mills. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 190 North Main Street, Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
