Kings Row to perform Sept. 9 at River Island Park to benefit Autumnfest 2012

August 12, 2012

WOONSOCKET -- Kings Row, dubbed “New England’s #1 Oldies Band,” in conjunction with sponsor The Call, are putting on a free fundraising concert for the benefit of Autumnfest 2012.
This concert will feature a taste of new songs planned for Kings Row’s now-in-production 5th CD and DVD. But according to Kings Row’s lead guitarist/singer and founder Wayne Lima, “The reason Kings Row and The Call have joined forces is to specifically contribute to Autumnfest’s financial health. Kings Row’s 15-year friendship with Autumnfest makes us feel a part of the Autumnfest family. So we, in partnership with The Call, hope to help make this Autumnfest as successful as possible.”
The concert is slated for Sunday, September 9th at River Island Park. Showtime is 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Lawn chairs are recommended.
Sponsors are being accepted for this fundraising concert. Those interested in participating, please contact The Call at 767-8500 for details.
