Alfred L. Berthelette

MILLVILLE - Alfred L. "Sarge" Berthelette, 84, Millville, died August 6, 2012 in the Timothy Daniels Home, Holliston. He was the husband of Rina R. (Beauregard) Berthelette, whom he married July 10, 1954. Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Pierre E. and Marie B. (Ethier) Berthelette.
Alfred was a custodian for Blackstone-Millville Regional High School for six years and had previously worked for the Dennison-Framingham Loading Dock for 15 years. Alfred was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.
Besides his wife, Alfred leaves two sons, Emile L. Berthelette and his wife Diane M. and Raymond R. Berthelette and his wife Diane M., both of Millville; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Euclid and Alphonse Berthelette and his sister, Lea Payette.
His funeral will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Augustine's Church, 17 Lincoln St., Millville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Olivia Comfort Care Fund, Milford Healthcare Center, 14 Prospect Street, Milford, MA 01757.
