HARRISVILLE- Carmella (Silba) Cecconi, 87, of Inman Rd. died Wednesday August 15, 2012 in the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Anthony Cecconi. Carmella and Tony were married for 69 years.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Matteo and Marion (Delfino) Silba.
Carmella worked for US Rubber for several years prior to retiring.
She was a former member of the North Smithfield Senior Citizens.
Besides her husband Anthony, she is survived by two children, one son Gary and wife Fran Cecconi of Woonsocket, and one daughter Carol and husband Joseph Tosches of Hopedale, MA.
Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews.
She also was the sister of the late Joseph, Alphonse, Rocco and Mary Beaubien, Katherine Achambault.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 A.M. in St. Anthony Church, Greene St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited ; calling hours are on Friday 4 - 8 P.M.
