Rene A. Beaulieu

NORTH SMITHFIELD- A. Rene Beaulieu, resident of North Smithfield, passed away July 24, 2012 after an accident in which a car struck his motorcycle in Virginia.
He was the dedicated husband to Rina (DiBasco) Beaulieu for almost fifty-seven years.
He was born in Woonsocket, son of the late August & Bella (Bourassa) Beaulieu.
Rene was a self-employed carpenter and a lifelong builder. He had a reputation of building houses with excellence. He was a member of the NE Regional Council of Carpenters of RI, local AFL-CIO, Union #94 Chapter. Rene was very passionate about motorcycle riding, having started in the 1960's with a scooter, moving up to motorcycles, including both two and three wheeled bikes. His quest for the "perfect ride" included six consecutively owned trikes, each accumulating high mileage.
He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Rose and her husband Joe of NH, and son Blue Beaulieu, of North Smithfield. Rene has two sisters, Lucy and his beloved sister and friend Bella Menard of Woonsocket. He also has a brother, Roland Beaulieu of PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in the Blackstone Valley area.
Funeral services and burial in St. John's Cemetery were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave. Woonsocket.
To the family and friends of Rene & Rina Beaulieu, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your thoughts and prayers. This is a very difficult time for our family with the sudden and tragic loss of our parents. At their request a very small service at St. John's cemetery was held. Let us honor their memory by living each and every day to the fullest with love and gratitude. Blue, Elaine, and Joe.
