PROVIDENCE — Painting a lurid picture of what he says is extensive and ongoing voter fraud — people being paid to vote multiple times at different polling places; votes cast in the names of dead people or those who said they would not vote in a given election; mail ballots being “bought” — Democratic congressional candidate Anthony Gemma pointed the finger of accusation directly at his primary opponent, Rep. David Cicilline.
Gemma told reporters at a much-ballyhooed news conference that he hired a private investigation firm, TRP Associates LLC, — comprised of former State Police detectives — to probe allegations of voter fraud that he said first surfaced during his unsuccessful 2010 bid for the 1st Congressional District seat but that apparently go back at least as far as 2001.
He distributed a package of documents that included witness statements with the witnesses’ names blacked out and he hinted at other evidence — including video and audio tape — he did not release that he said has been shared with the State Police and the FBI.

This clearly shows why proper ID in necessary when you vote.
These are charges of money for votes and money for multiple votes by the same person. Then there are those who are here illegally and voting. You can do this when ID isn't required.
