PLAINVILLE - Richard R. Lussier, 50, of Plainville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Howley) Lussier and loving father of Kyle, 13 and Alec, 10.
Born in Woonsocket, RI in 1962, he was the son of the late Gloria and Laurent Lussier.
Richard was a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology and worked in the electronics industry for many years. He was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed watching his boys participate in many sports though the years.
Besides his loving wife and sons, he leaves a brother, Ronald Lussier of Bellingham, MA and three sisters, Lorraine Lacouture of Norwalk, CT, Yvette Lussier of Leland, NC and Estelle Joly of Hudson, MA.
He also leaves his in-laws, Helen and William Howley, Sr. of Sharon, MA, brothers-in-law, William Howley Jr. of Seabrook, NH and Joseph Howley of Lake Oswego, OR and sisters-in-law, Lorraine Birkbeck of Plainville, MA, Elizabeth Howley of Oregon City, OR, Joanne Valeri of Mansfield, MA and Ellen McGowan of Mansfield, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, Monday, August 27, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Martha Church, Plainville, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lussier Children's Education Fund c/o Sovereign Bank, 32 Messenger St, Plainville, MA 02762.
