Police seek dad, son in AC thefts

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Police seek the public’s help in locating two men wanted on felony larceny warrants.
The warrants were issued for Larry A. Bates Sr., 52, and Larry A. Bates Jr., 29, both of whom are allegedly responsible for the theft of commercial HVAC units from several businesses in North Smithfield. The dollar amount of the units exceeds $50,000, police said.
Police said the two men may be armed with a gun and operating a 1998 white Dodge with white painted windows. The vehicle's Rhode Island combination plate is 67167.
A third suspect in connection to the thefts was apprehended Thursday. He was identified by police as Christopher Fisher, 23, of Woonsocket.
