BURRILLVILLE — The School Committee later this month will formally honor School Superintendent Frank W. Pallotta Jr. for being named Rhode Island's 2013 School Superintendent of the Year.
A special ceremony will be held prior to the committee's regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Members of the Town Council will also be on hand to present Dr. Pallotta with a special council resolution. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which will include refreshments.
“I would like to commend Dr. Pallotta on his award. It's a tremendous honor,” Town Council President Nancy F. Binns said at a recent council meeting. “Dr. Pallotta is a very distinguished superintendent and this community is very fortunate to have him.”
