BLACKSTONE- Richard A. Ravenelle, Jr. 52, of Ives St., died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Richard and Christina (Rawlings) Ravenelle, Sr. of Providence and the late Dorothy (Audette) Ravenelle.
Mr. Ravenelle worked in construction for various companies over the years. He loved all sports and, in particular, he loved riding his mortorcycle.
Besides his parents, Richard and Christina Ravenelle, Sr., he is survived by a brother; Scott Powers and close friend, Gary Flannery, of Temple Terrace, FL and two sisters; Judy Remillard and partner, Yvonne Morin of Providence, Connie Powers and daughter, Ashly Menard, of Woonsocket along with several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date and are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Richard's name be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
