BLACKSTONE- Armand Dauphin, 82, of Blackstone, MA, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Blaire House in Milford, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Rita (Gagnon) Dauphin.
Born in Bellingham, MA on July 18, 1930, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Laura (Chaput) Dauphin.
He leaves his daughter, Denise Dauphin of Woonsocket, RI and a granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren. He leaves his niece and caregiver, Susan LeBlanc and her husband, Richard of Woonsocket. He was the brother of Roger Dauphin and his wife, Madeline of Blackstone, Theresa Fregeau of Bellingham, and the late Lucien, Joseph, Lionel and Fernand Dauphin, Jeanne Costolo, and Grace St. Laurent. He also leaves his brother-in-law, Victor Dulude and his wife, Pauline, and his niece Shirley Dulude all of Fountain Valley, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
A resident of Blackstone, formerly of Bellingham, he owned and operated Armand's Garage on Rathbun Street, Blackstone for many years until retiring. He was a member of the Blackstone Senior Center. He enjoyed building model cars.
Funeral will be held on Friday, September 21st, at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time from 9:30 to 10:30AM at the Funeral Home prior to Mass.
