WOONSOCKET- Chad F. Croteau, 33, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at home. He was the beloved son of Leo G. Croteau and his wife, Maria Sciabarrasi-Croteau of Wakefield, RI and his mother Carolyn E. (Cutting) Croteau and her partner, James Jarret of Woonsocket, RI.
He was the brother of the late Jason Lee Croteau deceased in 1998. He was the nephew of Rene Croteau and his wife, Pat of Baltimore, MD, Donald Croteau and his wife, Donna, Paul Croteau and his wife, Becky, Norman Croteau and his wife Irene, all of Cumberland, RI, Roger Croteau and Steven Loston of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Raymond Cutting, George Pullen of Woonsocket, and the late Fernand Croteau and the late Christine Pullen. He was the grandson of Juliette (Paquette) Croteau and the late Fernand Croteau, and Evelyn (Frechette) Cutting, all of Woonsocket.
He also leaves his longtime girlfriend Tracy Charlska. He also leaves many cousins and friends.
Chad was a resident of Woonsocket and attended Woonsocket schools. He worked as an off shore fisherman at Point Judith, Narragansett, RI and also was a machinist for TMS in Cumberland. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are on Friday, September 21st from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations to the Galilee Mission, P.O. Box 459, Narragansett, RI 02880.
