Breakfast to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital

WOONSOCKET — The annual St. Jude’s Breakfast for the benefit of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at Club Par-X, 36 Stanley St. Joe Hyder, general chairman, urges everyone to wear red, white and blue this year in tribute to the annual “Salute to America” theme, chosen to mark the presidential campaign year.
Family-style breakfast, in keeping with the all-American theme, includes “firework” beans, patriotic home fries, Yankee Doodle ham, liberty eggs, rolls, coffee and juice served by members of the St Jude Committee, staff from the Coachmen’s Lodge, St Ann Arts & Cultural Center and friends of St. Jude.
Kitchen staff includes Bob Desautel, Fred Silvia, Roger Lataille, Ron Nichols, and Kevin Driscoll. Servers are Jarrod Marian, Karen Levesque, Ray Jalette, Dominique Doiron, Wally Rathbun, Angela Rondeau, Chris Beauchamp, Dan Gendron, Sue and Mike Beaulieu, Greg and Alex Go, Garret Mancieri, and Marc and Elaine Dubois.
Rachel Thifault and Tina Go will be greeting everyone at the door. Gloria Roberge is the chair of the raffle and gigantic liquor basket. Tickets will be sold by comedienne Rosalie Levitore, with assistance from State Rep. Robert D. Phillips, his wife Nancy, and Barbara Simmons.
Pre-sale ticket prices are $6 each. Tickets at the door, $7; children under three years old eat free.
