NORTH SMITHFIELD- Roger R. Rainville, 73, resident of North Smithfield, passed away on September 24, 2012 at Landmark Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Rose (Riendeau) Rainville.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Joseph Rainville and Florina (Carpentier) Taccone.
Roger was a carpenter for many years and a self employed carpenter formerly of REM Construction.
He is survived by his sons, Michael of Warwick; David, Roger both of Woonsocket; Richard of Webster, MA and one daughter Tina Lavimodiere of Woonsocket. One sister, Cathy Powers of Glocester; Stepchildren David Riendeau of FL; John Riendeau of Smithfield, Lynn Jensen, of Woonsocket and Lori Pelland, of Cumberland. He was preceded in death by his step daughter Pamela VanVooren, Twenty four grandchildren and twelve great grandchilden.
Roger's funeral service will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 10 AM inside the Egidio Dipardo and Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford, MA. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9-10AM. Please omit flowers.
