SMITHFIELD- Normand A. Gouin 83, resident of Smithfield, died September 21, 2012, at the North Bay Manor in Smithfield.
He was the husband of the late Theresa (Trinque) Gouin.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Eddie & Yvonne (Hamelin) Gouin.
Normand owned and operated Gouins Supply Co. for 50 years. He was a former resident of Burrillville and previously he lived in North Smithfield. He was a member of the Woonsocket Elks Lodge #850.
He is survived by his children; son, James Gouin of Oakland, daughters, Jane Dobrowolski of Fairfield VT, and Jo-Ann Dean of Slatersville, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and brothers Roger Gouin of Woonsocket and Hubert Gouin of North Smithfield.
A graveside committal service in which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM in St. John's Cemetery in Slatersville. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy, Oakland.
