HOPEDALE, MA- Jean Paul Gilbert Laplume, 73, of Hopedale, MA, formerly of Bellingham, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center.
He was the beloved son of the late Ovila and Germaine (L'Heureux) Laplume.
He was the brother of Normand Laplume and his wife Eleanor of Woonsocket, RI, Marcel Laplume and his wife, Jeannette of Millville, MA, Gerald Laplume and his wife, Lori of Woonsocket, RI, Raymond Laplume and his wife, Jeannine of Lisbon Falls, ME, Lucille Vitiello of Woonsocket, RI, Pauline Noel and her husband, Robert of Woonsocket, RI, and the late Roger Laplume, Emile Laplume, and Georgette Deshaies. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews.
He was a resident of the Ledger in Hopedale, MA and attended The Blaire House in Milford, where he leaves his caregivers and friends.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday October 2nd at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time is from 9:30-10:30AM at the funeral home prior to Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jean Paul Laplume may be sent to The Ledger, 55 Adin St., Hopedale, MA 01747 would be appreciated.
