Chris Ouellette, of Greenville, looks over silent auction items, especially a print of Slater Mill (center) by artist and author David Macauley during the 27th annual Blackstone Valley Tourism Council Awards Dinner at Twin River Casino in Lincoln Thursday night. Ouellette said she grew up at Slater Mill and had David Macauley as her art teacher in the 7th grade in Central Falls, where she lived at the time.
