GARDEN GROVE, CA- Rita Latraverse, 89, a resident of Garden Grove, Ca. died on Sept. 3, 2012, at Valley View Gardens, an Alzheimer Residential Care Home. Rita was the wife of the late Normand Latraverse.
They lived in Woonsocket and raised two children. Rita was a presser at Parisian dry cleaners in Woonsocket 1960 the family moved to Garden Grove, Ca. She continued working until 1975. Her second career, she volunteered at the Catholic school lunch Program helping young children for 35 years. Rita's favorite past times, spending time with her family, gardening and walking. Rita lived her last 4 years at the Alzheimer's Home. Her decline was slow, she had no other illness.
Son, Robert Lionel Latraverse, passed away in 2006.
She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Boyer and son-in-law Jeffry Boyer of Ca. Her brother, Lionel Charpentier, still lives in Woonsocket. She has many nieces and nephews in CA., R.I., and FL.
