Angelina Giguere

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA- Angelina (Tootsie) Giguere, age 91, of Huntsville, Alabama, and formerly of Milford, Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012. She was the widow of Antonio D Giguere, who was the former Finance Director for the city of Milford.
Mrs. Giguere was born on April 26, 1921 in North Adams, Massachusetts to the late John and Veronica (Charron) Sebastino.
A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her three children, Marlene Galipeau of Huntsville, Alabama; Robert Giguere of Waterbury, Connecticut; and Sharon Fowler of Jefferson City, Missouri. She is also survived by three sisters, Jean LeClair, Carol Gaffey, and Theresa Bechard, all of North Adams, Massachusetts; as well as seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Tootsie will be remembered as an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She was also a long time member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.
Calling hours are from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. following the calling hours in St, Mary's Church, Gulf St., Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
