WOONSOCKET - Florence R. (Guilmette) Nadeau, 87, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Ballou Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert H. Nadeau. Born in Woonsocket on June 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francois and Victoria (Dubois) Guilmette.
She was the loving mother of Jeannine F. Sonier of Woonsocket. She leaves her cherished 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Gerard Guilmette of Woonsocket and the late Valmire and Raymond Guilmette, Yvonne Peloquin and Jeannette Pellizzari.
A resident of Woonsocket for most of her life, she worked at EMC on Mill Street from 1969 until retiring in 1985 and previously worked at US Rubber during World War II. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, Bellingham, MA
