She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Hyde and her husband Ed of Manhattan, NY. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Rita Rondeau, Irene Campbell, Therese Marchand and one brother, Eugene Sene. She also leaves twelve great-grandchildren, the youngest, Austin Lucas, came into the world just in time to bring his great-grandmother a lot of joy before she passed. One brother-in-law, Aurelien (Little Joe) Lamoureux and his wife Pauline and many nieces and nephews.
Ronnie will be remembered for being called "Memere" by many who knew her. She always had a special love for children. Her biggest joy was playing cards and games with her grandchildren and playing cards and bingo with her family and friends. She was a very talented sewer, knitter, crocheter and crafter who when she was younger and able, made many handmade gifts and momento's for her family, including her annual array of new "pouponnes" for Christmas. At the Holiday, she was known as the "puzzle lady" with many of the residents taking joy in seeing the new pictures she would piece together each day. The staff and residents of the Holiday were like Ronnie's extended family and she would often talk about her "angels" there. The family is grateful for the care she received in her two and a half years of residence there.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 25th at 10:00 at St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Avenue, Woonsocket, RI.
