WOONSOCKET- Samuel Chattman, 57, of Bernon St. died Saturday October 27, 2012 in Marion Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Alfonso Chattman, and Bessie (Allen) Chattman of Woonsocket.
He was a United States Navy veteran.
Samuel worked for the Friends Foundry prior to becoming disabled.
Besides his mother Bessie he is survived by, one Stepdaughter Tiesha Dyer of Florida. Three brothers, Timothy Chattman, of Salem, Oregon, Nathan Chattman of Lincoln, R.I. and David Chattman of Cumberland. Three sisters, Deborah Chattman of Providence, Beverly Wilson of Greenwood, South Carolina, and Lisa Chattman of Woonsocket.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at 10 A.M. in St. James Baptist Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Wednesday from 6-9 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I.
