CUMBERLAND- Evelyn Kling Bosse, 88, of Putnam Pike, Smithfield, formerly of Norton Drive, passed away Monday at the Village at Waterman Lake, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of Walter Bosse for the last 67 years.
Born in Summit Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Lorraine Wetzel Kling.
She was a LPN for several years, but primarily was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, and was very active in their congregation as well as a member of the choir.
She leaves three daughters, Patricia Coogan of North Providence, Carol Bachman and her husband of Pascoag, and Barbara Kelly and her husband of Tucson, Arizona; one son Richard Bosse and his wife of Purcellville,Virginia; one brother, Robert Kling and his wife of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Funeral service will be held at 10 AM in the Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, 690 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Arnold Mills Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or to the Alzheimer's Association - RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence RI 02904.
