NORTH SMITHFIELD- Polak, Frank, 84, of North Smithfield, passed away Tuesday October 30th. He was the husband of 51 years to Elizabeth (Julien) Polak.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Paul and Tekla Polak.
Frank was the owner of Franks Oil Service in North Smithfield for over 30 years and also worked for the North Smithfield Highway Department.
Besides his wife, he leaves 3 children Deborah Berlinghof, Gary Polak, Brian Polak, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a brother Walter Polak. A Memorial service will be Saturday at 11AM at Slatersville Congregational Church, 25 Green St., Slatersville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to RI Humane Society, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
