VENICE, FL- Eldon "Moe", B. Moe, 87, of Venice, FL, formerly of North Smithfield, RI retired to Sarasota, FL 22 years ago died November 1, 2012.
Moe was born March 9, 1925 in Audubon, MN to Beda (Johnson) and Edwin Moe.
Moe served 23 years in the U.S. Army and Navy and furthered his career into Civil Service for Social Security.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carmen Dugan of Houston, TX. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Owens Moe; children: Sandra Campbell of Cary, NC, Jacqueline Garrepy of Burrillville, RI, Terry Halle of Lebanon, CT, Gary E. Jalette of West Chester, PA and Dana O. Moe of Venice, FL; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 6 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel with a Graveside Service immediately following at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Sarasota Humane Society, 2331 15th Street Sarasota, FL 34237.
