WOONSOCKET- Frances M. (Saporito) Fazzio, 87, of Mowry St., died Thursday November 1, 2012 at home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Richard Fazzio.
Richard and Frances celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary this August 24th.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Pietro and Fillipa (Ministera) Saporito.
Mrs. Fazzio worked as a sewer for Narragansett Knitting, until retiring in 1968.
Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by one son, Frank A. and his wife Patrice Fazzio of Wrentham, MA. One daughter Frances Ballou of Mapleville, R.I., One brother Sam Saporito of Woonsocket, two sisters, Mary Caron, of Sarasota, Florida, and Phyllis Khawani, of Harrisville. Three grandchildren, Kelli Lynch Legendre, Kevin Lynch, Samantha Fazzio. And one great grandchild Kylee Fazzio.
She was also the sister of the late Josephine, Tommy, Anabel, Lib, Pete, Charlie and Concetta.
Her funeral will be held on Monday November 5, 2012 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, R.I. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Anthony Church Greene St. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Sunday, November 4, 2012, from 3-7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers , donation in her memory to Beacon Hospice, Inc. 1 Catamore Boulevard, East Providence, R.I. 02914, would be appreciated.
