WOONSOCKET- Barry C. Kelman, 71, of Middle St., died Friday November 9, 2012, in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine L. (Brien) Kelman.
Born in Providence, son of the late Milton and Faye (Chase) Kelman.
Mr. Kelman, worked for American Dura film, in Holliston, Mass. and also for Coronet Thermogravers, in Providence, for 29 years.
Barry enjoyed horse riding and he was an avid bowler at North Bowl and was a member of their leagues. He also loved caring for cars, he clean, waxed, and buffed cars, making them look brand new. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife Lorraine.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Lorene Kelman, of Woonsocket, Two stepdaughters, Donna and husband Ed Calore, of Woonsocket, and Janine St. Pierre, also of Woonsocket. One sister, Cindy Granieri, of California, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
He also was the brother of the late Burton Kelman and Marilyn Asher.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday. His funeral will be on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. in the Funeral Home followed by burial at Union Cemetery.
