WOONSOCKET- Dennis J. Walsh, 65, of Woonsocket, died on November 7, 2012 at his home in Woonsocket. He was the husband of Eleanor G. (Sheehan) Walsh whom he married June 12, 1976.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late James and Catherine (Breslin) Walsh.
He worked as a textile colorist for the former Consolidated Auto Screen Company retiring in 1989. Danny loved fishing above all else, and would often fish at ponds and lakes in RI and MA with friends and family. He was an active member of the Cercle Laurier Club in Woonsocket and maintained many friendships from his years of being a member. He took great pleasure in spending time with his beloved cat, Peewee. He will be missed.
He is survived by his son, Nathan Walsh of Woonsocket; his daughter, Sara Walsh of Panama; two sisters, Donna Polier of Tewksbury, MA, and Kathleen Boardman of Brockton, MA.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St.
