WOONSOCKET- Morgan D. Stets, 80, of Woonsocket RI, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford. He was the husband of the late Rita (Tosches) Stets who died in 2001.
He was born in Middleboro Ma, son of the late Oscar and Sylvia (Bigelow) Stets and lived in Holliston, and Mendon before moving to Woonsocket RI in 2001.
He was a graduate of the Middleboro High School class of 1950. He also graduated from the Brown and Sharp Technical School class of 1958. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Stets owned and operated the MARS Manufacturing in Woonsocket RI for many years and retired in 1994.
He enjoyed playing the guitar.
He is survived by one son Douglas M. Stets of Glendale RI, four daughters Bonnie K. Bolton of Northbridge, Heidi M. Berkeley of Savannah GA, Katrina M. Hannagan of West Barnstable, Eileen S. Dube of Glendale CA, one sister Louise Cowan of Middleboro, a longtime friend Marie Richards of Milford, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral home service will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 9 A.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. Burial will follow in the Nemasket Hill Cemetery in Middleboro Ma.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M.
