HARRISVILLE- Shirley A. (Jenckes) Roy, 70, of Chapel St. died Tuesday November 13, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Norman Roy.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Arthur and Arlene (SanSouci) Jenckes Sr.
Shirley worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at North Bay Manor prior to retiring.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son Robert and wife Nicole Roy of Scotland, Conn. Two daughters, Barbara Rapko of Woonsocket, and Christine Roy of Harrisville, R.I. Also her granddaughter Holly Rapko, of Harrisville. Two brothers Arthur Jenckes Jr. of Bellingham, and Kenneth Jenckes, of California. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday at 7:30 P.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Saturday from 5-8 P.M. Burial will be private.
