James Preston Hare

PROVIDENCE- Hare, Preston James 72, died Monday, November 12, 2012 at home.
He was born in Providence, the son of the late R. Clayton L. and Hilda (Eddy) Hare. He was a self -employed realtor for many years, after a career with the Providence Gas Co.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachel Shields and Katherine Smith and one son, David Hare, his sister Linda Hare Rawlings, one brother Craig Overton, and 5 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Janet Overton Beall.
He was a volunteer with the Ronald MacDonald House in Providence, a member of the Brown University Running Club, also sang in the Choir of Haven United Methodist Church of East Providence.
Relatives and Friends are invited to the Memorial Service Saturday November 17, at 1PM at the Haven United Methodist Church, 200 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald MacDonald House, Providence.
