NORTH SMITHFIELD- Yvonne E. (Taber) Roderick, 88, of Rhodes Ave. died Thursday November 15, 2012 in St. Antoine Residence, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late William Roderick.
Born in Pawtucket, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Guindon) Taber.
Yvonne worked as a Spinner in Worsted Textile for 35 years and also Burger King for 10 years prior to retiring.
She was a former member of St. Joseph Senior Citizens and AARP.
She is survived by one son Joseph H. and wife Linda Saad, of Woonsocket, R.I. and one daughter Agnes and husband Ronnie Smolen, of Charlton, Mass. One grandchild and 5 great grandchildren.
She was also the sister of the late Harry Taber and grandmother to the late Michael Saad.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Charles Church, North Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Sunday from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of Flowers donation to St. Antoine Residence c/o Carolyn Allard 10 Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield, R.I. 02896, in her memory would be appreciated.
