BLACKSTONE- Therese J. Cote, 87, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, MA.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Rose (Lebel) Cote.
She was the sister of the late Leo, Rene, Raymond, Roger and Maurice Cote and Rina L'Heureux, Aline Laquerre, Simone Cote, and Sr. Muriel Cote, SGS. She leaves her cherished nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was a lifelong resident of Blackstone and was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and member of St. Theresa Seniors Club. She had worked for area textile mills and had worked 26 years at the French Worsted Mill, and retired in 1987 from Delmar Yarns of Harrisville, RI. She enjoyed playing cards, going to whist parties and going on day trips.
Funeral will be held on Monday, December 3rd at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the funeral home prior to Mass.
