BLACKSTONE, MA - Arthur B. Brown, 71, of Milk St., died November 28, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Earlene (Juggert) Brown of Blackstone. Born in Los Angeles, CA he was the son of the late Roy A. and Ethel F. (Newberry) Brown.
A Vietnam Air Force Veteran, Mr. Brown worked as a computer programmer for EMC, Hopkinton, MA. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fly fishing, camping, backpacking and canoeing and was also a Corvette enthusiast.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter; Linda Moore and her husband Max, II of Orange, CA and two grandchildren; Max, III and Sam Moore. He was the father of the late Allen D. Brown.
Calling hours, with Military Honors, will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 5-7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adopt-a-Family, Inc., P.O. Box 7665, Cumberland, RI 02864.
