WOONSOCKET- Claire E. Rainville 81, formerly of Burrington St. died December 8, 2012 at The Holiday Retirement Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Roland R. Rainville.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Norbert and Clara (Richard) Arsenault.
Claire worked for the Lunch Program at Leo Savoie School for ten years before retiring in 1993, she also worked as a molder and machine operator at Tupperware and the former Miller Electric. She enjoyed camping with her family, making puzzles, playing bingo and visiting her daughter in Florida.
She is survived by four daughters, Suzanne Peloquin and her husband Paul, Constance Lamoureux and her husband Wayne, Rachelle Rainville, and Lorraine Cotnoir and her husband David all of Woonsocket, four sons Robert Rainville and Regina, Rene Rainville, Richard Rainville, all of Woonsocket and Ronald Rainville and Lisa, of Cumberland, a brother Theodore Arsenault of Utah, two sisters Janet Gendron of Woonsocket, her twin sister, Constance Libardoni of Braintree, MA, eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason, Melissa, Jennifer, T.J., Ashley, Justin, and Brandon, and eight great-grandchildren, Hezekiah, Janet, Emmanuel, Landon, Brody, Jacob, Lily, and Shaylynn. She was also the sister of the late Norbert Arsenault and Lucille Wood.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours will be Tuesday 5-8 PM.
