CUMBERLAND - Dorothy L. (Morton) Fearing, 95, of Mayflower Drive, died Tuesday December 11, 2012 in the Mount St. Rita Health Center, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Glenn C. Fearing. Dorothy and Glenn celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on August 17th.
Born in Harveyville, Kansas, daughter of the late William and Susie (Miller) Morton.
She worked as a Food Service Supervisor for several years prior to retiring.
Dorothy was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed the special times with her loving family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Sherry and husband Robert A. Campanelli, of Cumberland, R.I. One son David and wife Donna Fearing of Alva, Oklahoma. One sister, Mary Modlin, of Mankato, Kansas. Four grandchildren, David A. Campanelli, of Brooklyn, New York, Matthew R. Campanelli, of Cumberland, R.I. David B. Fearing of Kodiak, Alaska, and Michael J. Fearing, of San Antonio , Texas and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral and burial will be private. The S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations, in her memory, to the Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island 1085 North Main St. Providence, R.I. 02904, and also to Mount St. Rita Health Center, 15 Sumner Brown Rd., Cumberland, R.I. 02864, would be appreciated.
