NORTH SMITHFIELD- Maurice C. Neyman, 82, of Great Rd., died December 19, 2012 at his home in North Smithfield. He was the husband of Florence (Carpentier) Neyman whom he married September 8, 1956.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late John and Amelia (Tasca) Neyman.
Mr. Neyman retired as an administrator for the Polaroid Company having worked there for 30 years. He was a Staff Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean War. Maurice was a member of the American Legion and a former board member at Union Cemetery.
Besides his wife he is survived by their son John M. Neyman of Buxton, ME; their daughter Linda J. Laliberte of Woonsocket; two sisters, Sandra Cole of Sturbridge, MA and Shirley Glidden of Alpharetta, GA; four grandchildren, Ryan and Courtney Laliberte, Tara Neyman, and Ashley Mulcahey; and four great grandchildren, Brody and Ryder Laliberte, and Abigail and Logan Mulcahey.
Services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 with visitation from 10 - 11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI. Burial with military honors will follow at Union Cemetery, Smithfield Rd., No. Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
