BELLINGHAM, MA- Elizabeth J. "Nunny" (Shaw) Haswell, 78, of Bellingham, MA passed peacefully at home away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Haswell.
Born in Framingham, MA on January 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Anthony) Shaw.
She was the loving mother of Scott Haswell of Bellingham, MA, Leslie Haswell of Woonsocket, RI, Christine Antaya of Gold Canyon, AZ and the late Judy Bernard and Patricia Haswell. She leaves her cherished six grandchildren, Jessica Adams and her husband, Mike, Jerremy Bernard, Patricia Leclair and her husband, Chris, Judy Bernard, Jill Holmes and her husband, Kyle, Jackie Charest and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Robert Shaw and his wife, Melody of Bellingham, Mary Chase and her husband, Frank of Hopkinton, MA, and the late Harold Shaw, Barbara Shaw and Phyllis Brooks.
She was a resident of Bellingham for 45 years, formerly of Framingham where she was raised. She was an avid bingo player and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St.(Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery, Mechanic St., Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Friday, December 28th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
