Alma A. Castonguay
LINCOLN- Alma A. Castonguay, 95, of Sayles Hill Road, died Wednesday, December 26, at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in New Bedford, Mass., a daughter of the late Euclide and Eva (Holcomb) Castonguay, she had lived in Woonsocket, Manville, and Cumberland, before moving back to Manville.
Miss Castonguay worked as a stitcher for U. S. Rubber in Woonsocket, and later as an inspector at American Tourister in Albion and Woonsocket, before retiring in 1969.
She was a communicant of Saint James Church, Manville.
She is survived by two sisters, Lea Labelle of Granby, Quebec, and Leona Gagne of Woonsocket; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Chabot, Emma Brickner, Beatrice Longpre, Edmond Castonguay, Albert Castonguay, Arthur Castonguay, and Jules Castonguay.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, January 4, at 10:00 a.m. in Saint James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville.
