CUMBERLAND- Susan K. (Donahue) Wahl, 60, of Cumberland, died January 1, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was the wife of David R. Wahl whom she married May 19, 1973.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Lillian M. (Barker) Donahue.
Susan was a selfless woman and devoted "Grammy." She enjoyed Sudoku puzzles and decorating.
Besides her husband, she leaves her son, David B. Wahl and his wife Elizabeth of Bellingham, MA; her daughter, Erin Morgan and her husband James of Winham, CT; her sister, Nancy F. Donahue and her husband Gene Brook of The Villages, FL; five grandchildren, Aiden, Joshua and Jacob Morgan and Tyler and Mackenzie Wahl.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a memorial service to follow at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Hasbro Children's Hospital/Rhode Island Hospital Foundation, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901or to the Ronald McDonald House of Providence, 45 Gay Street, Providence, RI 02905, for the care they gave her grandchildren, Aiden and Joshua.
