ORMOND BEACH, FLORIDA- Beatrice G. (Andre) Plante, 84, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Woonsocket, RI, died Saturday, January 5. She was the beloved wife of Arthur J. Plante for sixty-four years. They were wed April 30, 1949 at Precious Blood Church, Woonsocket, RI.
Born in Smithfield, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Laura (Noiseux). Prior to moving in Florida in 1973, she had worked as a seamstress at various companies, including Finkelstein's, the U.S. Rubber Company, and Needlecraft.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Arthur W. and his wife, Nancy of Cumberland, and two daughters: Louise Ledebur of Boynton Beach, Florida and Gail Cunningham and her husband, Randy of Ormond Beach, Florida. In addition she leaves six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Private arrangements were made by the Clymer Funeral Home and Cremations, Palm Coast, Florida.
