WOONSOCKET- Florence T. Ballou 91, resident of Woonsocket died January 9, 2013 at the Ballou Home for the Aged.
She was born July 17, 1921 in Blackstone MA, a daughter of the late Walter F. & Eva (Charette) Ballou.
Florence worked for the former Branch River Worsted for twenty six years retiring in 1971. She was the former treasurer of St. Germain Manor Club. She was a member of the St. Louis Senior Citizens Club, and also served on the Woonsocket Tenants Board of Affairs for four years.
She is survived by a nephew Paul Demers of Blackstone MA, and a niece Donna Maddock and her husband Alan of FL.
She was preceded in death by her sister Theresa Demers and her brother Adrian Ballou.
Funeral services and burial in St. Paul's Cemetery were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave. Woonsocket.
