WOONSOCKET- Normand A. Bibeault, 90, of St. Joseph St., died January 15, 2013 at Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Anne (Plasse) Bibeault and later the husband of the late Cecile (St. Germain) Bibeault.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Herve and Anita (Gingras) Bibeault.
He was the owner of Bibeault Overhead Garage Doors, working there for twenty years. Normand also worked maintenance for the Woonsocket Housing Authority for fifteen years. Mr. Bibeault was a WWII U.S. Army-Air Corps veteran, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre and in Fiji. He was a life member of Sayles Hill Road Rod & Gun Club, North Smithfield.
He is survived by his son, Robert Bibeault of Cumberland; three daughters, Diane Redihan of Providence, and Donna and Carolyn Bibeault both of Cranston; two brothers, Herve Bibeault, Jr. and Roger Bibeault both of Woonsocket; two sisters, Theresa Martel of North Smithfield, and Jeannette Rivet of Woonsocket; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his four brothers Edgar, Roland, Lucien and Bertrand Bibeault; and his sister Constance Bibeault.
His funeral will be held Saturday January 19, 2013, at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Theresa's Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA 01504. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Calling hours are Friday from 4 - 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
