BILLERICA, MA- Donna June (Lancisi) Croteau, 60, of Billerica, MA, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side.
Donna was born on May 27, 1952 in Milford, MA. She was a graduate of Saint Mary's Central Catholic High School in Milford and attended Framingham State University. Donna was married to Donald Croteau of Bellingham, MA for 35 years. They made their home in Cumberland, RI where they raised three children. For much of her life, Donna dedicated herself to serving others through volunteer work. She was an active member of St. John Vianney parish where she taught religious education classes. She also served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader in Cumberland and worked with La Leche League as a group leader and lactation consultant for many years.
For 15 years she was an assistant manager at the Dress Barn where she was valued by her colleagues for her caring, dedication, and ability.
Donna was the cherished daughter of Louis and Joan (Lavigne) Lancisi of Milford, MA and the beloved mother of Juliette Kaplan and her husband, Desmond of Billerica, MA, Philip Croteau and his wife, Elizabeth Rodio of Sharon, MA and Bethany Croteau and her husband, Adam Travis of Lynn, MA. She was the dearly loved grandmother of Milo, Caroline and Eleanor. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers: Paula and Paul DiVitto, Carol and Wayne Tomaso, and Mark and Michelle Lancisi all of Milford; as well as Kenny and Nel Lancisi of Phoenix, AZ. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral will be held on Monday, January 21st at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are on Sunday, January 20th from 1 to 4PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
